Tiedän, että mokkulan saa toimimaan terminaalissa wvdial-ohjelmalla. Sen asetustiedoston täytyy kuitenkin olla esimnerkiksi Elisalle ihan oman näköinen. Minulla on 600 kilometrin päässä Debian-asennus jossa wvdial-Elisa asennus toimii. Sen kun sinne piipahdan ja kopioin tiedoston.

Ongelmani ratkesi kun minulla oli köytettävissä parempi asennus-DVD

Eli kaikki tarvittava kyllä tulee DVD-levyn mukana, kaiken lisäksi Mandriva osaa ehdottaa tarvittavien pakettien asennusta, kun tikun kytkee koneeseen.

Pitää lähteä kuukaudeksi saaristoon ja ehdin siepata mukaan eeePC 701 - läppikseni. Olisiko mahdollista imuroida jostain Huawein ajuriohjelma .rpm tai .tar pakkauksena tai imuroida lähdekoodi ja kääntää siitä ajuri? Miten toimisitte autiolla saarella, jos olisitte pelastuneet sinne mokkulan ja Mandriva-läppärin kanssa?

Minulla on huvila Suomenlahden saarella. Sieltä sain helpohkosti nettiyhteyden Huawei220-mokkulalla. koska olen asentanut siihen Ubuntu 9.04 jakelun. Olisi kiva kokeilla Mandrivaa, Ubuntu ei ihan "istu" ja Easy Peasyä ei minulla ole cd:llä. Mandrivanhan on väitetty olevan eeePC:hen hyvin sopivan.

Ostin vanhan Mac Power Stationin. Sekin on huvilalla. Siihen olen onnistunut löytämään mokkulan ajurin .zip-tiedostona. Jotain samantapaista Mandrivaan?
