Yritäpä päivitystä uudelleen. Funetin peilipalvelin on kirjoitushetkellä ainakin päivittynyt ja tiedosto, jonka hakeminen aiemmin epäonnistui, löytyy palvelimelta. Virolaiselta peilipalvelimelta tiedostoa ei vielä löydy.

Nyt pitäisi taas muistaa Mandrivan ohjelmistonhallinta terminaalissa. MCC toki hoitaisi hommat, mutta sen käyttö ei onnistu eeePC 701:ssä. Päivitysikkunan alareuna jää työpöydän alareunan alle!

Mandrivan sivuilla väitetään, että Mandriva 2009.1 tukee läppäreitä, mutta se on yhtä totta kuin poliitikkojen rehellisyys. Muutoin Manmdriva toimii hyvin ja hoituuhan asia terminaalissa kunhan vain löytää tai muistaa muutaman komennon.

EasyUrpmin ajo ja muu sirkus on mennyt hyvin ja jokin aika sitten asensin Mandriva 2009.1:n eeePC 901 - läppäriin eikä ollut ongelmia.

Netiyhteys on Elisan hiidas mokkula saaristosta, joten "etsi Googlella" on hankala toteuttaa.
