Mandriva Linux 2009.0 Alpha2 on sitten saatettu julkisuuteen. Peilipalvelimilta löytyy aivan näinä hetkinä DVD .iso:t.

Päivitykseen tuota ei suositella käytettäväksi, saa vain särkyneen järjestelmän aikaiseksi, jos yrittää päivittää 2008.1-versiota.

En saa tuota alphaa millään asentumaan Vboxiin vaikka millä tavalla koittaisi niin käynistyslatajaan jää koko tuohu.
Mandriva kyllä asentuu mutta tuossa käynistys latajassa (grub) on jotain pielessä. pisimmälle pääsin netinstall:lla teksti tilassa mutta silti uudelleen käynnistys antoi: 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 ...
tulosteen.
Koitin myös rescue system:n avulla uudelleen asentaa boot loaderin mutta ei onnistunut. Pitänen jäädä viellä odottelemaan kiltisti rc versiota.

Hmmm....itse asentelin juuri VBoxiin Mandyn Cookerin boot.iso:n avulla ja hyvin toimii. Tosin tuosta on vajaa viikko jo aikaa, viikossa Cookerissa ehtii tapahtuun vaikka ja mitä...
