Virtualbox kiukuttelee edelleen, eli ohje "Konsolissa pääkäyttäjänä komento chmod 666 /dev/vboxdrv antaa kaikille tarvittavat oikeudet..." tepsii mutta vain sen aikaa kun on koneella. Joka kerta kun avaa koneen on oikeudet annettava uudelleen. Löytyykö tähän pysyvää keinoa.

Seuraava on ns. purkkaviritys, jolla ongelma saadaan eliminoitua, mutta ei poistettua lopullisesti. Lisätään tuo chmod-rimpsu tiedostoon /etc/rc.local, jolloin komento suoritetaan käynnistymisen lopuksi.

Tämä auttaa ainakin hetkellisesti...kunnes joku järkevä ratkaisu löytyy...

Sun xVM VirtualBox 2.0 :ssa ei tarvitse enään kikkailla oikeuksien kanssa. :-)
