Sain viimein eilen illalla asennettua Madriva Free:n. Nyt on kuitenkin ongelmia saada otsikon mukainen tulostin toimimaan. Madriva sisäsi ajurit iP2500 ja iP3000 tulostimille. Tulostin tunnistui normaalisti, asennettuina olivat 3000 ajurit. Yritin sitten testisivun tulostusta, tulostimen valo välkkyi muutaman kerran (kuten XP:stä tulostettaessa), mutta mitään ei tapahtunut. Etsiskelin ohjeita netistä ja Ubuntun foorumeilta löytyi linkki Canonin Aasian tukisivustolle. Siellä oli ajurit iP2600 sarjalle ja asennusohjeet. Asennusohjeissa on ohjeet Fedora 8:lle openSUSE 10.3:lle ja Ubuntu 7.10:lle. Onnistuuko asennus Mandrivaan millään noilla ohjeilla?
